The next day V, Judy, and the group went to the Megabuilding in which the Clouds reside. They waited at the elevator as they were two men short that V and Judy were supposed to meet there.
John was leaning against the wall and closed his eyes while playing with Mjølnir something odd for everyone that knows John while Grimoire was shaking in fear.
The time in the time chamber didn't just pass Grimoire's hardware by just having sex with Panam multiple times. No, he still remembered clearly what it meant when John was playing with that hammer.
"Please don't do something crazy," says Grimoire worried about his own life when John and the others looked at him confused.
"What do you mean?" asks Nesiara wanting Grimoire to elaborate on what he meant.
"Every day he would play with that damn hammer I had to fear for my life as he went rampage trying to kill me. I don't know what the old man wants to do but it won't be a beautiful sight when he is done," says Grimoire remembering how John was training him while getting chills all over his body.
"Hell is going to rain down upon our enemy, not upon our allies," says John looking at Grimoire with a smile trying to calm him down.
"Do you still remember the thirty-second rule I taught you in the time chamber?" asks John trying to get Grimoire to think about something else.
"We break in hard and precise to eliminate our targets," says Grimoire remembering it too well since they used the same tactic in his world to breach into an enemy outpost.
"Good that you remember, we will do the same," says John while looking at Nesiara who only nods while V and the others were confused about what was going on since they had a different plan.
"What about our plan?" asks V seriously as she found Judy's idea good.
"It is good but if we want to strike fear into our enemy we need to show that we can dominate them easily and that we are ready to kill our targets. If they see that we left some of them alive because someone chickened out it will only show weakness to the enemy," says John telling V why he changed the plan.
"Those two have never killed anyone before. They can defend themselves and overwhelm the enemy but can they kill them as well?" asks John out of V who looked conflicted with what John said.
"It is their future we are talking about," says V when John looked at her knowing what she meant.
"And I am securing it," says John earnestly as he was thinking about what was best for them.
"We will strike the Clouds while you strike their boss. This way we can secure that everything will go as planned," says John as he walked toward the elevator.
"He is right, you know," says Grimoire to V before following John.
V looked at Nesiara to be the voice of reason like always but Nesiara just smiled at her and Judy before saying, "You know that he is taking this decision for the both of you. John stained his hands with enough blood not wanting anyone that has clean hands to stain them with blood."
"He is doing it for the Dolls so you won't feel guilty if something were to happen to them. We can handle the Claws if they retaliated later on but they won't be able to deal with the revenge if the Claws return to take revenge while we can do that easily. Just make sure to take the right decision once you have to take one," says Nesiara to V before following her husband and grandson.
V looked at Judy who only sighs before taking in what Nesiara just said and she says, "She is right. We never thought of the consequences the other two would face if they helped us in my revenge against the Clouds."
"So you agree with them?" asks V seeing Judy not upset but relieved that the plan changed at the last minute.
"Yes, John is right. We can't show weakness not to the Claws and not to Maiko," says Judy to V telling V that she shouldn't show mercy even to Maiko.
"I will try my best," says V as they walked toward the elevator when the other two stopped them wanting to know what they were supposed to do now when V takes them with her to protect Judy from the Claws.
John was waiting for everyone to enter the elevator. Once everyone was inside he pressed two buttons on the display before placing Mjølnir on his belt again. They went up to the floor in which the Clouds was while the rest continued going up to another floor.
The couple and Grimoire were walking toward the Clouds when the Tiger Claws saw them. The Clouds got more security after what happened the last time John and Nesiara visited it.
The receptionist looked at them and says, "Please tell me you aren't going to do something stupid?"
"It might look stupid from your perspective but from ours, it is a just cause," says Nesiara in a calm tone when she pulls her guns out and points them at the receptionist.
She pulls the triggers of her guns and bullets flew right beside the receptionist's cheeks before going through the wall opening two big holes in the wall. Behind the said wall were two Tiger Claws which now had a giant hole in their chest because of the bullets.
Grimoire and John rushed past the receptionist and entered the Clouds through the holes Nesiara made a moment ago. John summoned Yamato into his hand since he would be fighting in a small environment making it not suitable to fight with his other weapons without causing major damage like Nesiara just did.
Grimoire was wielding a three-barrel gun named Cerberus which John build for him and enchanted it with runes to make it even more powerful. It can store Grimoire's Demonic Energy to transform into an even more powerful form which John called The Executor.
The Executor resembled Vincent's long hand-cannon Death Penalty. It was just a better cannon thanks to John's upgrades. Grimoire sees three Claws aiming at them and pulls the trigger once before three demonic-empowered bullets leave his gun killing the three in an instant as the bullets left nothing useable behind.
Suddenly a Tiger Claw came running towards them at an unbelievable speed. The Claw thought he was invincible since he was going at superhuman speed when he was about to swing his katana at John, he sees that John was looking directly at him as if he could track him.
The Claw tried to use another angle when he hears, "It was a nice try but you are going too slow for me."
John suddenly disappeared out of the Claw's sight and appeared behind the Claw with his hand on Yamato before letting go of Yamato's handle.
The Claw then began to fall apart into little pieces without even knowing what happened to him. John then took a step forward before disappearing again and he appeared again beside a group of Tiger Claws.
They were surprised for a moment before they saw their headless body before their eyes and everything slowly turned dark.
Nesiara entered the Clouds slowly and more normally than the other two using the door as a normal person would do before shooting at the ceiling opening two new holes in from which two dead Claws fall out. Nesiara pointed her guns at different points in the ceiling before shooting creating more holes and dead bodies falling from them with every shot she took.
John and Grimoire didn't even need to go to the next floor because Nesiara dealt with it alone and John pulls his phone out and calls Judy.
"John?" asks Judy not sure who it was because she was listening to the conversation between V and the Clouds' Bosses.
"The Clouds is done for. Tell V to finish them all off," says John to Judy sounding almost like it was an order that he gave Judy to pass to V.
"What do you mean with the Clouds is done?" asks Judy when she enters the camera system of the Clouds seeing everywhere corpses and holes.
"You didn't," says Judy shocked by what the trio just did.
"We did. It would be better for the Dolls to go to the Mox instead of staying in the Clouds. There they will be treated better and they wouldn't need to fear the retaliation of the Tiger Claws," says John as Judy found that it was a bad idea.
"The Claws will attack the Mox!" says Judy angry about what could happen.
"The Mox are protected by the Crownguards. Nobody is dumb enough to attack them with us around. Why do you think the Mox are being left alone by everyone except for the Maelstrom? It's because of me and Nesiara. Nobody is crazy enough to make us their enemy well almost nobody. Maelstrom is made out of crazy bastards but they are almost dealt with," says John informing Judy of the situation the Mox are in.
"Tell V no-," says John when he hears gunshots being fired from the other end.
V was using her Mantis Blades to block Maiko's bullets before piercing Maiko with them and splitting her in two brutally before turning to the sword that was on display beside the other three corpses when she says, "Maiko is dead as is everyone else. I am coming down."
"Copy that," says Judy not believing that V killed Maiko in cold blood before speaking into the phone, "V finished it."
"Good, we will meet you downstairs," says John before ending the call and looking at his wife and grandson before saying, "We are leaving."
"Finally, Panam wanted to show me how to drive the tank they have at the Nomad Camp," says Grimoire curious about how the tanks work in this world.
"You know that you won't be able to drive them, right," says Nesiara knowing that you need to be linked with the tank to be able to drive it.
"I don't want to drive it. I want to see her drive it while I am sitting right beside her," says Grimoire hinting at something which made the couple roll their eyes at their grandson as they leave the Clouds to meet the others.
