Everything was quiet for a while in Redgrave as Trish stayed for a long time while taking some missions on her own borrowing Sparda from Dante and using her two handguns.
Mary and Nora were surprised when they returned from New York City finding Trish in the living room watching some tv-show while looking at a clothes magazine.
Trish wasn't surprised since she heard of them from Kalina and Nesiara while shopping for her furniture and clothes.
"So you are Nora and Mary," says Trish disinterested as she looked at them.
"You must be Trish," says Nora as Trish was confused that Nora knew her name even before she even told them.
"Did they already inform you?" asks Trish as Nora shakes her head.
"No, but I should have known that they wouldn't just throw you out since you are a helpless chicken like Mary here," says Nora as she points at her partner.
"Hey, I can fight quite well against Demons even your father complimented my skills," says Mary proud since John rarely comments on their skills positively.
"Anyway, where are they?" asks Nora as Trish walks towards the living room.
Nora and Mary follow her finding John and Nesiara building a crib for their future grandchild without using their powers. They were so concentrated that they didn't even notice the young couple enter the living room with Trish.
"They are working on it since yesterday," says Trish as it was a crib that Nora looked almost like the one she and Kieron shared while they were babies.
"Mom, Dad," says Nora as John and Nesiara now noticed that the young couple was back.
"Ah, you two returned faster than expected from New York," says John as he heard from his parents that Nora and Mary were returning by car.
"We didn't want you to see this until it was done," says Nesiara as Kalina arrived at home holding a bag in her hand.
"They are back already," says Kalina as she sees Mary and Nora under the door frame that leads to the living room.
"What are you carrying there?" asks Mary seeing her mother carrying something suspicious in that bag.
"It is a toy bar that resembled the one you had. Nesiara and John asked me to get something that you used before so I went to buy a similar one," says Kalina as she takes it out showing it to Mary and Nora.
It was a simple one with a star, sun, and moon which the baby could play with as Mary took it from her mother's hands.
"I used to play with one of those before?" asks Mary not remembering it as her mother smiles at her warmly.
"You always kicked against it with your tiny feet showing all of your energy," says Kalina as Nesiara takes the toy bar from Mary's hands and walks over to the crib.
She gives it to John who made some holes in the crib so the toy bar could be moved later on for when Nora and Mary want to put the baby into it. John gave it a final touch as he carved some runes on the wood.
"Those are new," says Nesiara looking at them.
"They are Nordic Runes, a specialty of Arthur's. They will keep the child safe so nothing would ever happen to it even if we aren't around," says John as he gave a small smile from himself.
"But what do you think of it since it is our gift for you?" asks John as they worked quite hard on the crib.
"A gift from all of you?" asks Nora as Trish pulled herself out of this nonsense.
"I haven't bought a gift yet since I don't know the gender of the kid yet," says Trish as she leaves.
"Well, it seems she isn't good at showing her emotions," says Nora as she looked at Trish's back.
"She reminds me of someone that was exactly like before she found her partner," says Nesiara smiling at Nora as she was talking about her.
"I wasn't that much like that?" asks Nora as John began to laugh out loud.
"You were worse than her back then. You were a lot like me and my father," says John as he walked towards his daughter wanting to pet her head only to find out that his daughter was a bit taller than him.
"I still can't believe that I am smaller than my children now," says John joking about it when he says, "Just let her open up to us. We were her enemy not even a week ago. Once she finds herself comfortable around us she will be more open to everyone."
"But until then we should treat her like she is a family member," says Nesiara as Nora nods.
"I should go to my room and get some sleep before the food is ordered. Mary and Kate were always worrying about me making me feel uncomfortable because they thought I am a frail flower," says Nora walking towards her room.
Mary followed Nora as John and Nesiara were surprised that Nora choose to be the carrier of the child. Kalina was surprised as well going by her expression. They had dinner together which was lively even if Trish didn't talk much before everyone went to sleep.
Time passes and three years were gone since that day. Nora and Mary had twin boys both with different hair colors one had platinum hair while the other one had black hair.
They both shared the eyes of Mary which made Mary flinch for a bit because of the eyes but Nora loved them. John looked at them and looked like the children he saw in his dreams feeling happy that his vision came true.
They are now two years old as they run through the house uncontrollably when Trish points her gun at them and says, "Maverick and Archer Crownguard, why aren't you listening to your mother."
"Auntie," shout both as they jumped upon Trish making her go soft.
"Trish, you are back," says Nora as she looked at Trish who came back from a mission.
"Yes, where are Mom and Dad?" asks Trish as she joined the Crownguard family after the twins were born.
"Mom is outside with Kalina shopping for some toys for the kids and Dad is working on a contract with Mary," says Nora as she helped Trish up from the ground while the twins are holding on to her body.
"They are getting stronger by the day," says Trish as she puts the gun away so she can hold the twins better.
"Mom is teaching them to control their Ki since they started to play with Ki-Ball without us knowing about it until Mom found them throwing them at each other," says Nora as she was quite happy that her children are little geniuses.
"Is that true? You were playing with a grenade the whole time," says Trish looking at the twins who didn't understand what she was talking about.
Trish puts them down and says, "Now I brought something back from my hunt."
The twins looked at her excited knowing that it was something for them as she pulled out some daggers which contained demonic energy which Nora confiscated right away.
"They will receive them once they are old enough," says Nora with a smile as the twins looked at her disappointed with their puppy eyes.
"Mom," say both as Nora was resistant to their puppy eyes.
"You will get them once you are older," says Nora as she then turns to Trish.
"Next time bring them a lollipop or some other candy instead of pairs of daggers containing demonic energy. They are still too young for those," says Nora as Nesiara and Kalina came through the door.
"You are finally back," says Nesiara as she looked at Trish who was gone for two months.
"It is hard to return home fast if the demon is a slippery bastard that travels around the world," says Trish as she killed her target after tracking it finally in South Africa.
"Grandma!" shout Maverick and Archer excited as they jumped at Kalina and Nesiara knowing that they had bought them toys.
"Did you behave while we got you the toys?" asks Kalina as they nod their heads before Nesiara pulled out some foam swords and shields with which they could play with.
"I hope you like them," says Nesiara as Maverick and Archer began to play with them while running around the rooms.
Nora only sighs at that knowing that they will run now havoc around the house. John had to seal the weapons quarter so they wouldn't wander into it 'by accident'.
"They ran away quite fast we couldn't even give them your gift," says Kalina to Nesiara who brought something else for the twins.
"They will get it later," says Nesiara as she took out something that Nora was familiar with since it resembled an AmuSphere.
"Are you trying to let them play in a Virtual Reality?" asks Nora as Nesiara pulled a game out on which the Avengers are on the cover.
"I thought they should learn more about this world by being on your great-grandfather's side," says Nesiara as Jack was also in that game as an NPC.
It wasn't the real one but the person known as Soldier Zero before he became the Shadow of the Godking. Nesiara thought it would be nice for them to spend with a person they will never meet since it was her fault that he wasn't there any longer.
"Also it is family-friendly since I bought the game which was for younger audiences instead of the one for adults," says Nesiara as many features were cut out of this version of the game.
Nora sighs again before she says, "You two are spoiling them too much."
"Let me spoil them. We should enjoy the time we have together," says Nesiara knowing that she will leave sooner or later with John to meet Bran.
They enter the kitchen as they began to prepare dinner since they can't have growing children eat only fast food when they hear the door open.
It was John and Mary who returned from their hunt when they smelled the food Mary rushes to the kitchen finding the four women cooking food while the twins were fighting each other with their foam swords.
"It is always nice to return home when it is this lively," says John as it reminded him of Alfheim when he returned after fighting people the whole day finding Nesiara and the children in the small living room.
"It really is nice," says Mary as it felt like her family never went through a crisis seeing them all happy.
