John was roaming the Demon World searching for Sparda. He had some help from Demons that not pursued war against Earth but wanted to co-exist with it.
They told him that Sparda was in the deepest room of Mundus' Palace. There he is suffering for all eternity rotting slowly away. John had a frown on his face as he was walking towards his destination.
'It had to be in Mundus' Palace. I will have to use some tricks to enter it without being seen,' thinks John as he wanted to keep Mundus alive for Nesiara.
Nesiara wanted to kill Mundus for what he did with Eva's corpse creating a Demon using it. She wasn't angry with Trish who was born out of it since she had no control over the situation. That's why John wants to keep Mundus alive.
He shapeshifts into a Lizard Demon hoping that it would be enough to fool everyone in the castle knowing that Mundus will most likely know that he wasn't what he shows to be but the lesser demons won't know.
He entered the Palace without difficulties as he thinks, 'At least the intelligence Department of the Demons and lowlife-Hollows are the same.'
John walked through the Palace avoiding other demons as the Knights around seemed to have intelligence compared to the others Demons in it. John avoided everything until he reached a place that was a bit too far outside of the Palace to be guarded this heavily.
John wanted to approach it when a Knight stops him and says, "No one is allowed inside without Mundus' permission."
John turned around as he thought he found the place in which Sparda was locked in. But before he could leave a sword tried to pierce him making him avoid the attack.
"I knew it," says the Knight as he was the one who attacked John.
"Those demons can't understand us. They avoid us by instinct," says the Knight informing John where he messed up in impersonating a lowlife demon.
"Well then it can't be helped," says John as he ended the jutsu showing his true form to the Demon Knight.
John now pulled all the attention towards him as Mundus seemed to manifest behind him while saying, "The rat finally shows himself. It was hard to find you."
"And it is even harder to capture me," says John who turns around and sees three red eyes that looked like gems radiating in the darkness of the Demon World before a giant demon manifested out of it.
Its body was so horrifying as it seemed to want John to puke from seeing it if his stomach wasn't steeled from seeing it already in the game John would have surely done it.
"You look almost like a friend of mine that is sealed inside me," says John hinting at the ten-tail that has a similar appearance just less gore and blood.
"You dare to mock me a God," says Mundus as he throws a punch when John just sighs.
"I am not your opponent," says John as he closes his eyes and stretches his hand out to intercept the punch.
Mundus was smiling after hearing John thinking he meant that John couldn't defeat him and not that John didn't want to fight him.
Suddenly red chakra began to engulf John as he opened his eyes which were purple with circles in it and on three of those circles were tomoes. His clothes turned orange as he entered the Sage of the Sixth Path mode before his Ki manifested grey over the chakra activating his Mega-Instinct.
"Remember you wanted this fight," says John as he caught the fist and didn't even move from his position while everything around him seemed to get pushed back just by the sheer force behind the punch.
The ground around John was cracking as it broke and around John a crater appeared, while John was standing on air surprising everyone as they thought someone needed wings to be able to fly.
"Sorry to disappoint you but I won't fight you since my wife wants to rip your little thing from your body and hang it in her trophy case beside her other trophies," says John as he smiled at Mundus without care when he continues, "But how about I let some friends of mine play with you while I get for what I came for."
John then pushes Mundus back using the force before he made one hand seal before summoning all tailed-beasts inside him as well as Seiryu. They were all mountains a bit bigger than Mundus as they all needed to look down upon him, excepts for the three-tail who needed to look up.
"Have fun but don't kill him. That honor belongs to Nesiara," says John as he leaves the eleven alone to have fun, well at least ten of them will have fun pummeling the one that will suffer it.
"Now, how do we do this?" asks Seiryu looking at the other nine as his body was floating over Mundus.
"He never said that we can't destroy his place. How about this. Half of us destroy this place while the other half take care of him but without killing him. After all, we all don't want to suffer a fate worse than him," says Matatabi knowing that John can endure Nesiara's fury but they couldn't.
"Who wants to destroy this place?" asks Kurama as three tails went into the air.
It was the Isobe, Saiken, and Chomei that raised one of their tails as Kurama looked at the rest when Matatabi raises one of her tails as well. Now they looked for the last one as Kokuo sighs before raising one of his tails.
"Good the rest deals with this wannabe ten-tail," says Kurama as they begin the destruction of this place while they humiliated Mundus.
In the meantime was John walking down some stairs killing Demon Knights left and right with just his thoughts as the force was doing the rest for him. He arrives at what seemed to be a prison in which many demons were imprisoned either because they were followers of Sparda or followers of Argosax.
'It seems that all of his enemies are imprisoned here. Sparda must be in the deepest part of this prison,' thinks John seeing them in chains while walking deeper inside.
No one could stop John once he activated Sage Mode and his Mega-Instinct. He could see things coming before they even happened because of his instincts.
He entered the deepest and darkest spot in the prison and saw the body of Sparda hanging from the wall barely staying in one piece but the body was still breathing.
Sparda's eyes were dead as John ripped the bars between them apart easily. He entered the cell as he walked towards Sparda and once in front of Sparda he releases him from his chains making the body fall to the ground.
"It is done," says John as he lifted him up and opened his mouth before opening his mouth and black smoke began to leave his mouth and it entered Sparda's body.
Once everything was done John saw that Sparda's eyes were alive and he says, "We have some time to get your followers and get out of here."
"Then let us make it fast," says Sparda as he tries to walk only to collapse but John caught him.
"Maybe I should assist you in walking until you adapt to having a body again," says John making Sparda smile.
"Yes, that would be for the best," says Sparda as John puts Sparda's arm around his shoulder and helped him out of the cell as they walked through the prison liberating demons that followed Sparda in his rebellion.
They were outside and see the Palace was destroyed and Mundus was ringing with staying awake from all the pummeling he suffered under Kurama and the others.
"Well, I got what I wanted," says John as Mundus looked in John's direction.
"The traitor, I should have killed him back then," says Mundus regretting not have killed Sparda now as John handed Sparda over to his followers.
He unsheathed Yamato as he looked at Mundus while smiling and says, "My wife will await you. But she won't be this forgiving as I am."
John then opened a portal towards Earth as he sends the demons through it with Sparda while the tailed-beasts turned into smoke as did Seiryu. Mundus thought it was his opportunity to get revenge for everything.
He attacks with his last strength only to find John block the attack again while saying, "We will meet again and when that happens it will be your last day."
"You will regret not killing me," says Mundus angrily as John's eyes turned cold making Mundus feel shivers pass his back as he saw a thunder giant standing in front of him.
"You think I won't kill you," says John angry that Mundus threatened him.
John grabbed his head as if it was a child's head and smashed it into the ground while saying, "You are still alive because I want it. Not because you are strong or the Prince of Hell. But because I want you to live before my wife takes your life."
Then John turned back as he entered the portal that closed right behind him as he appears in Red Grave City to be exact he was on the roof of the building he calls home.
He turns around and feels three people standing there. He turned around and sees his wife with his daughter and Lady.
A moment ago in the warehouse the Crownguard calls home, Nesiara was cooking dinner for Nora, Lady, and herself.
They were sitting at the table when Lady asks, "John still isn't back?"
"No, and it is worrying me. It has already been a year since he left. We know that time flows differently in the Demon World and that is worrying me. He should have been back already," says Nesiara as she placed the food on the table when Lady wanted to grab the Lembas Bread, and both Nesiara and Nora stopped her.
"Don't bite from that or you won't eat the food my mother made for you," says Nora as Lady was confused.
"A bit out of this bread makes you full. It is a secret recipe from the elves and is used for travelers to eat when they are traveling so they don't need many rations but only two or three of those to reach their destination and return," says Nesiara explaining it to Lady.
"Maybe I should take those with me for when I go on a mission but why make them for dinner?" asks Lady as Nora explained to her that she and her mother had a faster metabolism making them eat far more than a normal human would.
They had dinner when suddenly Nesiara felt John's energy making her stand up while saying, "He is back!"
The others stood up as well as they followed her up onto the roof finding demons that had some chains around their ankles but they were broken. They were on their guard until a familiar back came out of the portal as it closed.
The man turned around and Nesiara could recognize John behind the long beard he was now using and the messy hair he was having. She rushes at him and hugs him.
"You bloody idiot," says Nesiara making John smile from hearing her.
"Did you get an English Accent now that I left home," says John as he returned the hug while looking at the other two smiling at them.
"How long was I away?" asks John as he only knows that three years passed in the Demon World until he finally found Sparda.
"One year, you were one year away. Even Justice couldn't find you," says Nesiara as she looked at John angry now.
"Now I am knee-deep in shit," says John knowing this expression as Nesiara only began to laugh from hearing him.
"No, but we were having dinner how about we invite the others also into our home. What do you say, Sparda?" says Nesiara as she looked at Sparda who needed help to walk.
"That would be quite generous," says Sparda as he accepted Nesiara's offer.
They walked into the warehouse not knowing that some old black man in his black leather jacket and eye-patch was watching them from afar.
