Everyone sees the signal and they rush towards the position finding Barret standing over the person they were looking for.
"Is he dead?" asks Cloud as Barret shakes his head.
"No unconscious," says Barret as John walked over and picks him up.
"Now that we have him we can clean our names," says John as he began to move towards the exit of the Prison.
"Why keep him alive?" asks Cloud as Nesiara sighs.
"He is just mentally ill. We can solve that easily," says Nesiara as Barret was for keeping him alive as well.
"I want to keep him alive as well since he is Marlene's father. He must have lost it with Corel's destruction," says Barret as he was carrying a heavy burden since that day.
"So we give him over to the authority and they deal with him. Isn't that almost a death sentence," says Cloud as they approached the exit.
"Don't think so. Dio is quite a kind man. He would imprison him most likely but not kill him," says John as Nesiara nodded since both met him in Gold Saucer.
"We just need to take care of his mind and everything else will solve itself from alone," says Nesiara as she could see mentally healthy Dyne work for Dio until this adventure is over and he with Barret begin to find another way to produce energy.
They arrived at the exit and find a man in a green suit with his white hair pointing into the sky when John says, "We have the one that did the attack in the Battle Square some hours ago."
"I can see that you have the person that can give you the authority to leave the prison. But even so, you would need to win a Chocobo Race to leave here," says the man as John grabbed the man's shoulder realizing some pressure.
"Do you think I would need someone's authority to break free from here. How about you tell your Boss Dio that we caught the person before you destroy his park," says John in a threatening tone making the man realize that he wasn't playing around.
The man nods as he leaves right away taking the lift up to inform Dio. They waited for an hour and nothing happened still when Yuffie says, "We should break out. They could be planning a trap."
"She could be telling the truth. It's taking too long," says Cloud while Nora was mending Dyne's mind.
"We will wait. You two need to learn how to be more patient. The journey we are on won't be rainbow and flowers after all. Sometimes you need to rest and find your place in everything," says John as he was sitting on the ground meditating.
Suddenly some buggies came driving towards them and this didn't look good for Cloud and Yuffie as they draw their weapon while Kieron says, "Put them away. There are only two people."
Both did so but were still ready if something were to happen at any moment when Nora suddenly stands up and says, "He should be fine after a long sleep."
"Really," says Barret as Nora nods making him happy enough to hug her when Nora evades his hug and Barret falls to the ground, hugging his friend instead.
"You could accept his hug you know," says Nesiara worried that her daughter will never find a man.
"You know that I swim the other way," says Nora as Nesiara couldn't still accept it since her family was more traditionally when John puts his hand on her shoulder.
"Everyone has his own way to walk. We can't change that," says John as he was more liberal because his uncle Arthur is gay.
"Still we won't ever get grandchildren from her," says Nesiara as John smiled at her waving his finger in denial.
"If she was a make then yes, but as a female, she can get children with a machine we have at home," says John as Nesiara looked at him.
"What do you mean?" asks Nesiara as John explained to her that Jack once created a machine that could turn an egg into a sperm so lesbians could have their own children even if the baby would turn female in almost all cases.
Nesiara seemed more than happy after hearing that as she wanted grandchildren from every one of her children when she asks, "What about the other way around?"
"That would work too. But they would need a rented womb since our technology didn't go that far except it did while we were off the world," says John as Nesiara then smiles.
"Well then all our children can do as they want," says Nesiara as she wasn't completely fine with the relationship between the same sex but could accept it.
The buggies stopped in front of them and the man the couple met before was driving one of the buggies while the other was brought by the man in green.
Dio stops the engine and leaves the buggy and walks over to the group and takes John's hand and says, "I'm sorry about what happened. I should have known that people like us wouldn't do such a thing."
"It's good that we could solve everything peacefully," says John as he smiled at Dio making Dio smile as well.
"I brought you those buggies as compensation for falsely accusing your group," says Dio as he looked around and sees the culprit and says, "So it was Dyne."
"It seems so but he was mentally ill. He should be fine tomorrow since my daughter is good in mending the mind of other people," says John trying to make Dio rethink how to deal with Dyne.
"I see and you say that he should be fine by tomorrow?" asks Dio as John nods.
"Then I will hope it doesn't repeat itself. It would be hard to find another Warden for the prison," says Dio as Barret thanked Dio all of a sudden for not punishing him.
"Well, we should maybe rest for today in the Gold Saucer before leaving tomorrow. Can we leave the buggies down here?" asks John as Dio nods.
"Of course, you can stay today. I will inform the Innkeeper about it," says Dio as the group was happy that they could stay in Gold Saucer since the sun was setting in the west.
They took the lift up with Dio when Dio looks at the man in green and says, "Mr. Coates take care of the buggies until our guest return tomorrow."
"Of course, sir," says Coates as he stayed behind when the lift door closes and the lift goes up.
"It seems you are leaving Cait Sith," says Dio as Cait Sith nods.
"Yes, I want to help them in their journey," says Cait Sith as Dio nods.
"I wish you good luck then," says Dio as Cait Sith smiles. They reached the Battle Square and Dio says, "You are welcome back to the Gold Saucer. Have fun while you are staying."
"Thank you," says everyone as Dio shakes his head.
"No, I have to say my thanks for resolving the issue for me," says Dio as John was carrying Dyne the whole time.
They all leave and John went with Nesiara and Barret to the Ghost Square to the inn to lay Dyne on a bed until he wakes up with Barret staying by his side.
The others were having fun continuing their dates while Nora was having fun with Yuffie, Red XIII, and Cait Sith.
"How about we continue our little date?" asks Nesiara as Barret was looking over Dyne giving them time to enjoy and John smiles.
"Where did we stop again?" asks John knowing the answer as Nesiara takes his arm and they disappear and appeared on Wonder Square.
"We were here when suddenly the alarm went off," says Nesiara as she then hugged John's arm as they began to enjoy their date while trying to avoid the other groups as much as possible.
The next day Dyne woke up as Barret was sitting on a chair right beside him. He was clear-headed as if the dark cloud that was over him disappeared as Barret was relieved to hear that when he says, "Marlene will be happy to know that you are alive."
"You think so," says Dyne as he didn't think so when John entered the room to get Barret and sees the situation.
"Everything alright? We are ready to leave," says John as Barret nods.
"I will be there in a minute," says Barret as John nods leaving the room again when Barret turns to Dyne and says, "She has a right to know that her real father is alive."
"Yes, but she won't like to see him since his hands are full of blood," says Dyne as he couldn't imagine holding Marlene in his hand.
"You know being a parent means to be there for your child in the good times as well as for the bad ones. You are there nit because you like it but because they need you even more so the little girl in Midgar," says John from outside the room giving both something to think about.
John walks towards the stairs to joins the others that were already downstairs when Cloud asks, "Are we going for Nibelheim next?"
"No we are going for Gongaga that lies south of here," says Nesiara while looking at Aerith and Kieron before looking away and sighing.
"What are we thinking to get there?" asks Cloud as it was the opposite direction of Nibelheim.
"A Keystone that we will be needing later on to get something important," says John as he reached them.
"And that would be?" asks Yuffie now.
"Black Materia," says John as everyone looked confused at him.
"You remember the simulation that you saw right?" asks John as the people that saw it nod and he continues, "Sephiroth needs the Black Materia and with us having it we can prevent Sephiroth from making that simulation a reality."
"I understand but what if he tries to use me to get to the Materia," says Cloud worried as John smiles.
"Nice that you are thinking but don't worry. You didn't have any attacks from him since we erected that wall against him in your mind remember. No pain in your head nothing. He didn't even appear in front of us since Midgar so I think we are safe from him for now," says John pretty sure that Cloud was safe for now with not knowing the whole truth.
"Then we should get it," says Yuffie as she was excited since she wanted some action making everyone laugh.
Barret then joined them and says, "I'm ready to go."
"Then it's time to leave," says Nesiara as the group leaves the inn and goes to the Battle Square to get the lift down.
