Sheng Ning grew fonder of this home the longer she stayed. She felt incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful mother-in-law. Just the thought of her father-in-law getting up to cook every time and her mother-in-law sleeping until the meal was ready gave her the illusion of having traveled to the future.
