Chapter 34 - You’re a Thief!

They went into various jewelry stores but Li Hua still couldn't find something she liked. Su LingTian told her that his mother liked jewelry but that was it. Every time she looked towards him for help he simply shrugged.

As they were walking down the hall she noticed a necklace in a store display. It was a very beautiful with various diamonds and a big blue jewel in the middle. For some reason when she looked at it she knew it was the one.

She gently tugged at Su Lingtian's arm and pointed towards the necklace.

"I like that one."

Su LingTian who was on the phone turned to see where she was pointing. Seeing the necklace he smiled at her, "Thats a very good choice."

Li Hua felt her face get hot. She quickly turned away and walked in the store. Seeing her retreating back, he held in his laughter as he followed close behind.

The store was very nice. It had very nice decor and a slight fragrant smell. Looking at the jewelry it was no wonder, the place was expensive! The cheapest item they had was almost 1000¥.

She walked over to the necklace she saw earlier. It was even prettier up close.

She recalled her conversation with An Bao earlier. She could barely afford this in her current state. She turned around to tell Su LingTian that they should go but to her surprise he wasn't there!

Now that she thought about it at some point they let go of each other's hand. She was about to pull out her phone to call him when she felt a tap on her shoulder.

The lady wasn't very attractive with quite strong features however she dressed in very expensive clothing. Obviously she was very wealthy. Besides her was what looked to be her boyfriend who seemed to be somewhere else in his mind.

'I guess even love can be overlooked when you have money'

"Is there anything I can help you with?" She smiled.

Li Hua looked at the her. She could see the lady was only putting on a front. She may have been smiling but she was sizing Li Hua up. These were the type of people she hated the most.

"Actually I was just looking around. The jewelry in this store is very pretty." She said cautiously.

Just what she wanted to hear. Her smile dropped and she frowned at Li Hua. Looking at the way she dressed she probably couldn't afford anything in the store. The woman had seen many people like this. Poor people who would lurk around expensive stores and steal!

Looking at Li Hua's face she frowned even more. It was these types of poor people she hated the most. The ones with the pretty faces, she saw many tramps like her come to seduce rich men.

Seeing the change in expression, Li Hua felt something was off.

"I'll just go." As she turned to leave the lady suddenly grabbed her arm.

"I can't let you go!" The lady said loudly.

Seeing the commotion some of the sales clerks came over.

"What's the issue ma'am?"

They were a very high end store and such a loud commotion wasn't good for business.

"This lady is a thief!"

Hearing this Li Hua felt her eyes were about to pop out of her head. Her a thief? What had she stolen?

"There seems to be some mistake here. I haven't stolen anything."

The lady rolled her eyes. As if she would believe her. Seeing the purse Li Hua was wearing she pointed at it.

"There! I beat she has Jewelry in there."

The sales clerk looked over at Li Hua. It was true Li Hua didn't dress like she could afford anything in the store. Even the clerk had noticed her looking at some of the jewelry closely earlier.

"Ma'am can you hand over the bag." Even she had grown suspicious.

Seeing that everyone was against her Li Hua really felt like she was surrounded by idiots. Because a random lady accused her of stealing that meant she did.

"I'm sorry but I will not be handing over my bag. On what grounds do you claim I've stolen."

"Do you have any proof?"

She wasn't the type to cause any drama but this was ridiculous.

The lady scoffed. Proof? The only proof she needed was that she didn't belong in this store to begin with.

The sales clerk sighed and asked again "Ma'am just hand me the bag and this will all be over with."

"I will not." She said.

"If you really haven't stolen then just let us check the bag." Seeing how Li Hua wouldn't comply she grew even more confident that she had indeed stolen.

Finally giving in she handed the bag over to the sales clerk.

"If it's shown that I haven't stolen then I expect a full apology."

The woman wanted to laugh. Just as the clerk was opening the bag a voice rang out.

"What's going on here?"

Turning towards the voices direction. Su LingTian stood in the door his hands full of shopping bags. Seeing him there Li Hua unconsciously let out a sigh of relief.

Seeing Su LingTian both the lady and the clerk froze.

"Mr. Su?"

Seeing their reaction, Li Hua looked at the two with a slight smirk. Her expression reading "You've done it now."

Seeing this, the lady felt as if she got more then she bargained for.

'Shit'
