Jasmine Yale didn't find it particularly arduous; at least it was much calmer than the finance world.
After spending so much time in Cakago, the only thing she was unaccustomed to in Green Peak Village was the simplicity and warmth here, lacking any coldness.
When she returned to the orphanage, the children were all playing, with a few elderly people supervising.
The orphanage receives a batch of funding every year, but the money isn't much, mainly used to pay salaries and buy clothes and educational materials.
Jasmine Yale walked around the orphanage.
The classrooms were very basic, the blackboards and desks were all rudimentary.
In autumn, not many volunteers came, just one or two older teachers, who were the old private school teachers from the village.
Most young people from the village have left, and there are fewer and fewer children, only the orphanage is bustling, with many children.
