"There have been quite a few new hires this year." Flora Sutton stirred her coffee and looked around. "The group is in a developmental phase, so it's easy to get promoted. You came at the right time."
"Did you start at the beginning of the year?" Jasmine Yale asked.
"Yes, I was recruited at the start of the year." Flora Sutton smiled, "Work hard, you can do it."
Jasmine Yale nodded, with a gentle smile on her face.
She really liked her colleagues. In them, she saw a vibrant energy.
Sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a light golden hue over the lounge. The lush greenery on the balcony glimmered beautifully, thriving and full of life.
While drinking juice, Jasmine Yale overheard two colleagues from UT chatting behind her.
They seemed to enjoy gossiping as well, their laughter hearty. "Evan is really handsome. I used to think Asian features weren't prominent, but now I realize how ignorant I was. After meeting him once, I can't forget."
