Jasmine Yale tried on pair after pair, thoroughly enjoying herself.
This was probably the happiest she had ever been while shopping. There wasn't a single other customer, but he was by her side.
"We've bought so much already. It's enough. Let's go get something to eat?" Jasmine glanced at the shopping bags in his hand.
"What do you want to eat?"
"Just a cup of hot chocolate." Jasmine looked at him with a bright smile. "And don't say it's not nutritious."
Sylvan Cheney couldn't argue with her. He took out his phone and made a call: "Send a cup of hot chocolate up to the third floor."
Jasmine's brows curved into a delighted expression. When she went along with him, he would go along with her too.
Jasmine linked her arm through his. "Why don't we go look at some hats?"
"Whatever you want to see, let's go."
Jasmine walked over to the display. She liked knitted hats and picked out several.
