Sylvan Cheney looked at her and served her the spare ribs she loved to eat, a curve forming on his thin lips: "Hmm, let's eat."
Jasmine Yale was sitting close to him, eating whatever he put on her plate.
"After dinner, I need to step out for a bit, you don't have to wait up for me."
"How long will you be out?"
"I'll make it quick."
"Alright..." Jasmine Yale nodded, "It's getting chilly tonight, I'll get you some clothes later, make sure to dress warm."
"Hmm."
"Don't drink too much. Butler Santana said your health hasn't been great all of last year, and you were hospitalized for a few days."
"Butler Santana talks too much."
"Regardless, you have to take care of yourself whether I'm by your side or not," Jasmine Yale spoke softly, "How's the dish I made?"
She noticed that he ate quite a bit.
"Not bad, could use some improvement."
"I think it's quite good."
"Yes." Sylvan Cheney rarely complimented her.
