Night fell.
The bright moon hung in the sky, casting a cold moonlit glow on the window lattice, streaming through the half-open window, and laying a silver frost on the ground.
Suddenly, two shadows appeared outside the window, one after the other, slowly slipping inside.
They crept along the ground, swiftly gliding towards the bed.
On the bed, a young girl lay on her side, her fair wrist emerging from her sleeve, draped over the edge of the bed, fingertips dangling down.
The two shadows surged beneath her fingertips.
One of the shadows took out a bamboo tube-like object and blew into it.
A wispy smoke sprayed from the bamboo tube, rising slowly.
After waiting a moment, they floated up from both ends of the bed.
Outside, a cloud unknown from where drifted over, blocking the moonlight, dimming the room's light.
The two shadows pounced onto the young girl on the bed simultaneously.
"Ah——"
A shrill scream echoed through the entire room.
