One hour later...
As the sun reached its noon peak, the bustling morning routine settled into a brief lull before the noon rush. Dylan gathered his new recruits, stepping into the center of the main hall with his ledger open in hand.
"Alright, listen up," Dylan began, his voice commanding immediate attention. "Before our peak hours hit, I'm giving all of you your initial evaluations based on the evaluations we've done in the past hour.."
He turned first toward Allen and Jerome, who stood nervously wiping their hands on their aprons. "Allen, Jerome. Neither of you passed my culinary standards today, your knife work is decent at most and your heat control lacks precision. However, you can expect that I will be training you until you meet them. You have the basic muscle memory, so over the coming weeks, I will personally teach you my techniques."
"Thank you, Boss! We won't let you down!" Allen and Jerome replied, bowing deeply in relief.
