The big red ghost stared at me intently as if trying to figure something out. In the end, he shook his head and sigh.
"Actually that may not be the case all"
He held his chin, rubbing his imaginary beard and spoke once again.
"This is just the third day since I was posted here and I am already encountering circumstances like this."
He carefully scrutinized me then something seems to clicked on his mind.
"How did you die?"
"That.. Hmmmm... Well... I-I actually don't know"
"Huh?!"
He stared at me doubtfully seemingly in disbelief.
"That's impossible."
I scratched my head, not knowing what to say.
"A ghost will never forget the cause of his death, do you know that? We ghosts are existences that has lingering attachment on our previous life, that's why it is impossible for us to forget. If you really had forgotten and move on from your past, then you shouldn't be here at all. You should be in heaven or hell already if that's really the case."
I sighed and replied to him, " When I open my eyes, I'm already here in this place. When I try to remember some things, I cannot recall any coherent memories. It is like my memories are shredded into pieces."
He shrugged his shoulders and move towards a big red door.
"Follow me for now. I will explain to you how the netherworld works. I am not sure what to do with your case, so, for now just forget it and I'll deal with it somehow. Well now, since you cannot remember your name, I'll just call you Frite "
He walk towards the big red door, opened it and said "Go inside, my explanation will directly flow into your mind."
I looked at him and nod. Walking slowly, I entered.
