Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Solfang darted across the battlefield, repeatedly attacking the Heavenly Dominator with his blazing saber and Devouring Flames.
However, the longer he fought, the more he realized that something was wrong.
Initially, his attacks had been highly effective against the elemental armor protecting the Heavenly Dominator. His Devouring Flames could steadily consume the elemental mana sustaining its defenses, weakening its protective layer while occasionally dealing considerable damage.
But after several more exchanges, Solfang began noticing that the effectiveness of his Devouring Flames was gradually diminishing.
Although his flames could still shred through the elemental armor, the rate at which they consumed its elemental mana had slowed considerably.
Shing! Shing! Shing!
Solfang swung his blazing saber repeatedly, unleashing several enormous fiery crescents that shot straight toward the Heavenly Dominator's back.
