For two hours, he had been navigating his way through the dense underbrush, his senses on high alert for any sign of danger. Suddenly, he heard a low growl, and before he had time to react, a giant wolf magical beast with wings appeared before him.
The young man was agile and quick, dodging the beast's powerful attacks with ease. His angular face was tense with concentration, and although there was no trace of youth on his face, it was clear that he was not yet very old. He wore a simple outfit of dark green and brown, and his hair was tied back in a messy ponytail.
The giant wolf was an impressive sight, with its enormous size and razor-sharp teeth. It was a 10★ - Iron Stage magical beast, one of the most powerful creatures in the forest. But the young man was undaunted and continued to fight with all his might, determined to emerge victorious.

Two hours ago, Gabriel had just upgraded his equipment and was feeling excited. He left the Moon Forest and began running in a random direction, eager to explore. After thirty minutes of wandering, he stumbled upon a new forest called the Valley of Wolves. Gabriel continued to explore the valley, hoping to find some monsters to fight.
After over an hour of searching, he finally spotted six 1★ - Iron Stage desert wolves. Gabriel fought and defeated the wolves, earning an additional 85 experience points. This brought his total experience points to 998, leaving him just two points shy of leveling up to level 2. He would be the first player to reach this milestone.
As Gabriel started to leave the area, he heard a deafening howl from deep within the valley. A giant white wolf, standing at 1.6 meters tall with blood-red pupils, appeared in front of him. The Wind Wolf King was angry that Gabriel had killed its pack and was ready to attack.
Gabriel quickly became alert and ready for a fight. He was unsure if he was lucky or not to encounter the Wind Wolf King on his first visit to the valley. Despite his serious expression, he couldn't help but smile at the prospect of battling such a formidable foe.
The Wind Wolf King charged at Gabriel, but he managed to dodge the attack. As he did so, he gathered a ball of light in his palm, creating a small vortex before throwing his skill [Light Hurricane] at the Wind Wolf King. The Wind Wolf King responded by releasing a powerful wind element storm from its mouth, which destroyed the Hurricane of Light and caused destruction all around.
Undeterred, Gabriel activated his talent and chose to cast the [Demon Curse (☯️)] skill towards the Wind Wolf King. He quickly checked the status of the Wind Wolf King to see the effects of his spell.
A series of prompts could be heard.

"Light Hurricane!" he shouted as his swift strikes connected with the enemy.
The first hit landed with a sharp whoosh, dealing a critical blow that shaved off 850 HP from the Wind Wolf King. The second strike followed quickly, slicing through the air with a whoosh and taking away 450 HP from the enemy's health bar. Before the Wolf King could even react, Gabriel landed a third hit, this time dealing a hefty blow of 420 HP.
However, Gabriel's elation was short-lived, as he saw that his skill had barely even made a dent in the Wind Wolf King's health. A frown creased his face as he surveyed the situation, his gaze flickering to his remaining mana to plan his next move.

Gabriel and the Wolf King faced each other in a fierce battle. The Wolf King was a formidable opponent, but Gabriel was not one to back down. As the Wolf King charged towards him, Gabriel braced himself and took a few steps back.
To his surprise, the Wolf King was unable to use any of its skills. It seemed confused for a moment before deciding to pounce on Gabriel, using its sharp claws and fangs.

Gabriel's buff [shield] was triggered, which successfully withstood the attack. However, the force of the impact sent him back a few steps.
Gabriel knew that he needed to act fast if he wanted to defeat the Wolf King. He quickly cast his skill [Light Hurricane], sending powerful gusts of light towards the Wolf King. The attacks landed successfully, dealing significant damage of 455 HP, 399 HP, and 401 HP to the Wolf King.
Despite the success of his previous attack, Gabriel knew that it was not enough. He needed to use a stronger skill to defeat the Wolf King once and for all. With a focused mind, he cast [Curse Totem(☯️)], a skill that would inflict a powerful curse on the Wolf King.
But before he even considered casting this skill, he had to first make changes to the skill effect.

Principal Dalhmer ordered them to switch the feed of the holographic projector and connect it to the observation device that generated the alarm.
The holographic projector was swiftly switched to another location inside the Mystical Realm, and after a second, the projected image displayed a youth and a giant wolf having a standoff. The teachers' attention turned to Gabriel's feed, and when they saw his opponent, they couldn't be bothered to pay attention to the other students. They looked directly at Gabriel, and when they saw that his monstrous enemy was approaching him, they couldn't help but worry.
As they watched Gabriel dodge the attack of the giant wolf, a deep sigh of relief escaped their lips. But when Gabriel cast a skill that was negated by the wolf's skill, the teachers' concern grew. Mr. Hanz, one of the teachers, couldn't bear to see Gabriel in danger and requested Principal Dalhmer to open the restriction level of the Mystical Realm so he could enter and take Gabriel out immediately. Miss Clair supported him and urged the principal to take care of Gabriel, who was a genius because of his performance in the assessment.
The principal, however, was calm and composed and asked the teachers to wait and look at the situation first. Although others could not see it, he, as a Peak Gold Stage Orion, could sense something in this fight.

As the totem drained the life from the Wolf King yet again, Gabriel remained unwavering in his focus. Despite the Wolf King's frenzied state, Gabriel deftly avoided its attacks and retaliated with his own [Light Hurricane] skill, dealing a powerful counter damage of 2670.
When the debilitating effect of Gabriel's [silence] spell wore off, the Wolf King prepared to unleash its own skill. However, just as it was about to strike, the [Light Hurricane] skill's 20% stun effect kicked in, leaving the Wolf King incapacitated for an additional 3 seconds. When it finally regained its footing, the Wolf King was weakened and vulnerable for another 5 seconds.

Gabriel's eyes widened as he spotted an opening. So, to be absolutely certain of his victory, he drew on his reserves of magical energy and invoked his [Light Hurricane] skill. The air around him began to swirl and crackle with light, and a fierce gust of wind erupted from his hands, carrying with it a storm of luminous projectiles that rained down on the Wolf King. Gabriel watched intently as the barrage of damage hit its target, his heart racing with anticipation.
