"We decided we are staying with you. Not the other you." Quistis said smiling as she appeared. "I promised Agria that I will take care of you and I will. Someone has to help keep you grounded and... human."
Tifa nodded her head as well. "That's right. I also promised Riku, so there. Besides I want to make my martial arts the most powerful in the world. The other you had so much going on mentally, and the coming and going through time, we lost out on some things. I still think this will be for the best for all involved. We can help pave the way for when new people arrive."
"Yeah.. I did." Azul ran his hand through his hair and thought about it. "Just a little emotional baggage to get through, not to bad. Galtea, I won't make things to difficult, but I will need time." His Pather power was showing so many different things, he honestly didn't know what to think. 'I swear it feels like I can alter things somehow. But then it disappears and gets locked away.' As soon as Azul seperated a part of his mind to go that route to study it more in dept, a slight buzzing would go off and he would forget. 'Stupid System, what are you hiding from me? Or is it.. what was I thinking about?'
Galtea interrupted his thoughts with her biotic strands. She was excitied and confused about everything. She was anticipating something for the future, but want to proceed carefully.
"I have good control over what will happen now. With the upgrades to my pod, everything will be easier for me to control. Much easier with my custom rig. With the future info on what goes wrong, I have made adjustments for when it triggers and a backup to stop it altogether if someone decides to tamper with it again." Galtea said smirking. "So when you do your Pull's this time.. who will it be? I can do it for Tifa to take Riku's place. With her carrying that soul piece, it will open that World back up to us. With that, we can start there changing what she wanted gaining the strength of a World Pillar faster."
"Also I have already set something up for my World. Since you are not going there, I had Galtea spend points to acquire it when you finished your tutorial. Dont worry she purchased a bunch of places and is just running mostly logistics." Quistis said. "I kind of want you to just influence my world only a little bit. You dont have to take it over. It is the only World I desire to go to. If you need me anywhere else, I am happy to go as well of course. Need to earn my keep as you have said once before."
"We are not going to my World. I also dont want to go there again anyway. As well as the new alterate remake of it really." Tifa said smiling happily. "However, I will go to Final Fantasy X and do what needs to be done there with you. I will mostly stay there taking care of some things. Once I arrive, I will make contact with Riku passing the information over. She won't have her feelings for you.. so I am sorry."
"Galatea is there a way to get Riku to appear and Tifa at the same time from a Pull?" Azul asked thinking about what happened with the Martial Pull once before.
"Yes!" Galatea said thinking about it. "We defintely can exploit the hell out of that."
"Thats great." Tifa said. "So that means me, Riku, and Yuna will be with you there."
"Riku will stay there permanently mostly likely which is fine, that way her and Yuna can effectively guide the place. Azul looked to Tifa and the others and thought for only a moment. "Yeah, that will work. Since that is what they both want, I dont mind. But what about the other Pull? I dont think my soul will do what it did last time and acquire Alistair."
"It won't," Galtea said shaking her head slowly. "You can target yourself instead." Seeing Azul's face she smiled. "You did several playthroughs creating a squire for yourself. Pulling a version of you can also work. As well a cheapen the points for the creation of your place in that World. Also, it will make it easier for your starting movements and what we discussed."
"Oh, and that is what?"
"As a regular squire, you could make a name for yourself. Especially coming from a regular background." Mileuda said pressing onto him. "It will work better I promise. Agria might not exist this time around. Me and the twins do. I know you dont want to hear it but.."
"Easy calm down," Azul said sending her his biotic strands. On their end, they could feel he calmed down already. "They have made their choice already. I will understand in time or I won't. It is that simple. I feel a lot more do to my high synchro rate as well as my ability, I will adapt. After a few outbursts most likely.. So I start as a regular squire and.."
"You get to us quicker," Ciela said jumping. "Come adopt us or steal us, it does not matter."
"Right," Lettie said nodding. "Brother we rather not deal with what happens or starve." She walked over and looked Azul straight in the eyes. "You and the rest are our families. We do not wish to kill others for the Count. Let someone else do it."
Giving her a pat on the head, he agreed. "Ok. So I get them early on. I make a name for my self a little bit in the area getting the attention of the Corpse Brigade." Azul looked down at Mileuda. "That way I have a reason for visiting you." She gave a small nod agreeing. "I take it I use that fame to help get me into the Akademy."
"Yes. That will flow pretty well actually. Once there, head to get Alita. The sooner the better."
"After you acquire her.. come find me," Tietra said. "I will let Alita reside in me while I stay there waiting for your return. Dont worry, I will not let what happen last time take place." Tietra gave Azul a powerful stare. "The only man I belong to ..is you. I don't take any others. But may grab a few women."
"That is fine by me." Azul gave her a warm smile and thought for a moment. "What about your brother?"
"I might just kill him. What he did.. is not acceptable. However, I will talk to him. With my years of training, it may help. If not... you can do to him what you did to Weigarf."
"Heh, alright." Azul chuckled. He was then pinched by Tietra and Mileuda. "Ouch, my body is not a Primarchs body anymore. That bloody hurt."
"Good," Mileuda smirked. "You dont have to fight my brother this time. Let him go where he may. When we bonded, I learned his fate originally. You changed it drastically the last time. I dont care if he goes to them or not. He is a grown man making his own decisions."
"I understand. But I will try to talk to him anyway." Azul thought about something and realized they may all be gone as well. The additional information about the Zodiac Braves. "The banners won't exist this time will they?"
"Most likely not. They were a completely different scenario created due to Alistair. Once you are pulled, the Squire you anyway. A scenario will unfold based on your desires as well as what the System can do for growth for the World. Odds are Barbaneth will already be dead and Dycendarg in charge."
"Ohh get to try to murder him a different way. I like it." Azul said with fire circling above his head. With a shake, it went out. "Ah wait we dont get a piece of Rafa, Tia, Carn, Codis, or a few of the others who are not actual pillar candidates did we?" He thought for a moment. "Wait Rafa is though."
The characters Tia, Carn and Codis were all mostly results from the combination of Alistair and Azul as a noble. The System made history for his parents and branch families.
"No. Codis was tied to Alistair. Tia was tied to your specific origin at that time." Galtea said checking her memory to make sure. "You may get a few of the others but it is doubtful. In time we will go through the souls residing in you to make sure. Carn didn't come that I know. He was to devote to his world to see it change and have to go through it again. There is a piece of Rafa waiting inside you. She is scared but the twins have kept her company. Once you are pulled the twins and Mileuda will head to her and Malak. Considering the age group of everyone involved it will be a little dangerous. Unless..
"Unless I spend a little more points to make sure nothing happens," Azul said as he thought it over for a bit more. "You are way better at logistics so you can make it work. It looks like I will have to go with the Alliance option then. Oh, wait. Lluvia you can get us Citadel work right?"
"Heh, correct. Once the crew gets annexed that's what we will do. I will talk to the council the same as last time but I will keep my Spectre status this time." She gave a warm smile and thought it over. "I think telling them I want to investigate Matriarch Benezia will help."
"Speaking of things," Tietra said. "After the windmill incident, we will disappear for a while. About two years worth. While events unfold. During that time we will make ourselves known to the princess."
"Huh, why her?" Azul asked puzzled.
"Because we hate her backstory and her future. Even with our influence last time, the others still messed with her. Agrias was not enough to protect her and the others still got to her." Mileuda said wrinkling her nose. "Besides, you are all Paragon and whatnot. Right up that ally, saving the princess."
"This time we support the princess and her right to the throne," Tietra said. "I know her a little from the monastery visits. I'll just make my self more known to her. With Mileuda, the twins, and myself behind her, she will become a better survivor. Well, you can definitely help but no funny business."
"I am not interested in her so do not worry."
"Azul you are not gonna try Monogamy again are you?" Galtea faces was pensive. "I know you said you wouldn't but.. your ability mkes it even more dangerous if you.."
"No. Well, maybe a little in certain Worlds." He gave her a wry smile. "If I can help it, I will in certain Worlds. I won't fight and waste resources and time ok? No need for what happened before."
"That is great. Makes things easier." Tifa said smacking his shoulder. "I know you are not happy with Riku's choice, but she left a request in her soul." Tifa finally pulled up the rest of the info after the talk they had a few minutes ago.
"Oh yeah?"
"Since you are going a more nice guy route. Well, a little anyway.. she wants you to take Yuna and let Tidus die."
"Ummm.. the hell. You know I have memories of him being like my brother right... I am not into that kind of thing."
"We figured.. so... she gave me a little power of her World. That was her original plan. Tifa then held her hand out containing a little shard. It floated between the two then floated to Galtea. "She wants you to have Azul take Tidus place completely. Absorb his soul and everything. Effectively making him a pillar in that world. So when it comes time for him to die the pillar part is the only thing destroyed and he loses nothing the same as last time. Yuna absorbs the power and becomes the next ruler of the World."
"Riku is mighty ambitious," Galtea said looking at the shard taking it in. "This can work.. are you ok with this Azul? You did promise Riku whatever it takes."
"Yeah but I fulfilled that already so..blah to that." He then looked to Hotshot. "Are you coming with again this time?"
"No. I enjoyed my time as a Ronso but I dont want to relive that." Waving her hand and using her biotics she lifted Azul out of the rest of them. "I am coming with you to what, was it.. Super Robot Taisen to fight. Chari wants to save so many of them and you are going more Paragon so that will work for me helping to keep her safe while you crush things. Besides.." Hotshot gave him a quick kiss. "Smooch, I want to go with you to Tactics as well to help with the infiltration. I want to see what it is like turning into a human."
"Ahh, that felt good." Azul righted himself and agreed. "Yeah, that sounds good. Well, a lot of planning but I need to get a few things going here in Mass Effect." Looking around he gave everyone a quick wave. "See everyone soon, oh and Techlis if you break my sister's heart I will destroy everything else you love just to hurt you. Including your gods. Bye."
"How did he know?" Techlis said taking the threat to heart.
"His Pather abilities were spreading over the entire place," Tifa said smiling. "It happened when he realized who all stayed." She felt a tingle in her body. 'So much I can attain as a martial artist. The sky is the limit! I think I will wait till things go really bad then a little good to go somewhere with him. My Teacher and my rival, Azul this will be so much fun.' As Tifa thought to herself, a small change took place. She felt doubt in someone in the area. But it was to weak for her to grab onto.
"At least he took it better than I thought he would," Quistis said. "Thought he would try to kill someone honestly."
"Oh, he does," Zelda said pointing to a statue. "That is new."
The statue was the biggest in the place yet. The chains were about a foot thick keeping it in place.
"What in all of Azeroth is that?" Jaina said staring at the statue. She then noticed a small statue of everyone present looking at it. A few faces were hidden. Possibly the ones that did not come or the ones that did not wake up yet. "Are we all guarding him or coming to kill him?"
"It is both," Zelda answered seriously. "He bottled everything up to keep from creating a problem. dont worry, he is not suppressing it. Just slowly working on it. This is his Malevolence and Wrath, along with everything else. He is taking it slowly realizing all his faults to make sure none of you get hurt."
"Us?" Tifa asked.
"Yeah. I mean I am safe." Zelda said. "The rest of you may need to increase your willpower to guard against his Pather power. For when you come to this area. Other than that, your fine. That or stay off his porch. The other areas are fine."
Jaina walked over and noticed her statue. Her clothes were that of Mileena's. She had a smile on her face. The right hand held onto the chain with a death grip. The left held on to the weapon on her side.
"I.. hope this works Mileena. I really do." Jaina said looking fondly. She then turn to the rest of them. "I think I need to train my close combat a little more. Especially if we are taking the Eldar portion of the fighting in Warhammer 30k-40k."
"Yeah, you defintely do," Galtea said. "I think I have a way for that to all work out actually. Oh Jaina," She got the woman's full attention. "When you are Pulled.. Azul has chosen the Alliance. A Paladin at that subconsciously. So be careful his desires are already set on you."
"Eh.. why!? Is it cause of Mileena?" Jaina said embarrassed a little.
"Only a little. The anger he felt towards you is with the other him. So a lot of the people here are getting a fresh start. His soul does not have the emotional memory of what happened. More like he watched a movie and it is there." Galtea smiled. "Good luck." She then left to continue her duties.
