Under the pale light, the monster stared fiercely at Ling Mo and his companion with its red eyes. Its entire body was covered in mud, but you could still make out the almost completely transparent clothing underneath… However, compared to its appearance, its skin color was the least of concerns. Its eyes were nearly bulging out of their sockets, its nose had evolved into mere black holes, and its mouth resembled a gaping, wriggling maw.
The neck was entirely gone, and even the body had shrunk completely, its limbs reduced to just hands and feet, and the only intact part of its torso was so emaciated that it was just skin and bones. When it lay down, it still resembled an adult, but standing up, it was only as tall as a person's calf… Its head was placed in front of its chest, making it look like a headless torso standing in the mud… and it could even make sounds!
