Qin Nanyu noticed someone approaching and warily raised his eyes to look behind him.
Seeing the freshly awakened Ji Weitian, his gaze instantly softened.
He casually exchanged a few words and then hung up the phone.
"Awake?"
Qin Nanyu placed his phone on the coffee table, stood up from the sofa, and walked over to Ji Weitian.
Seeing her with a somewhat dazed expression, looking like she hadn't fully woken up, he bent down, picked her up, turned around, and walked back to the sofa where he set her down.
"Are you hungry? Want me to take you out to eat?"

Ji Weitian's thoughts were still lingering on his earlier phone call as she rolled over on the sofa and sat facing him.
