"Wake up, girl!" a man said.
Alexa opened her eyes and saw Takashi looking at her. Suddenly, she felt a memory of feeling pain all around her body, so she screamed in agony as if it were real.
The man held her shoulders and said, "You are fine, you're fine! That pain is just post-trauma."
Alexa stopped screaming and began to think, but was still confused.
Someone's footsteps got louder, and the person said, "Well done on completing the tutorial. So this is phase 2 of my Asylum!"
Alexa looked at him, the Overseer "Martin" looked at her with a smile, and she gritted her teeth, ready to pounce and attack him.
Overseer, "Let's not do anything stupid here. I am here to show you what we have here. Look around!"
Alexa looks around and sees the rest of her friends in incubators. Andrew, Hassan, George, John, Benjamin, Sarah, Diana, Xavier, and Allan.
Alexa, "How... are they here? I thought they made it outside."
"Outside, where? Welcome to MY DOMAIN!" said The Overseer as Alexa fell through a trap door to the bottom, a cushy surfaced slide slowly took her to the bottom, where she met people her age. They looked too serious and felt she was a trouble to be around.
Alexa was looking around, but she was lost in thought. "That asylum was fake? But how? A dream like a nightmare?"
Someone came up to her and asked, "Are you from the 1st phase?"
Alexa looked at him and asked, "1st phase? That asylum killed me!"
Everyone there paused, then they laughed. Later, someone said, "That was all a game, and she thought that was real."

It has been a week since Alexa was with the group. She made a friend and attracted a lot of haters.
"Hey! Andre, can you help me with this log. It is heavier than I thought."
The boy who helped her get used to the surroundings is the only friend she made. They were all trapped in a forest-like terrain with cylindrical walls surrounding them that stretched up to the ceiling. The people started to build shelters and bridges that spiraled up close to the wall. On the ceiling, there is a key hanging like a chandelier, and they had only been able to build up to 3 houses, which means they are only 45 feet up compared to 1000 feet; it looked impossible to them, but they kept pushing forward.
"I gotcha you!"
Girl 1 murmured as they watched Alexa and Andre, "That bitch is trying to fuck him, what a whore!"
That pissed Alexa left the log and was ready for a fight. Andre knew what was gonna happen, also left the log and stopped her, "Hey, Hey, HEY! Chill there, WE don't need them all hating you," he then whispered, "they are all watching this. Let's not escalate this, okay?"
Alexa looked around, sighed, "Whatever!" They then continued with the log to the storage.
A few hours before sleep, Andre came to Alexa, "Hey! There was another one like you before here, he was called Xavier."
Alexa, in her thoughts, "Xavier is up there, I saw that, he is alive. Or his corpse? I don't know!?"
Alexa, "What did you mean by 1st phase?"
Andre, "The Overseer said we were all from the 1st phase but hadn't passed the test."
Alexa, "He didn't tell that to me or anything?"
A loud microphone was heard all around them, starting with a beep. "That is because you reached the exfil room."
"That's the Overseer."
"You're right, my dear Alexa!"
"How is Xavier? Is he alr-"
"YES, yes he is!"
"What is the 1st phase?"
People started to murmur.
The Overseer laughed and then said, "You ALL remember being there, but don't know what happened, don't you?"
Silence struck.
"You will understand soon, trust me. I am here to inform you that since we are at a total of 100 members, I will screen what is still happening in the 1st phase, you will not want to miss this, I know it! It will answer your questions.", as he beeped off.
