3 YEARS AND 1 MONTHS OLD.
It has been two days since our birthday, actually it was the first one we celebrated and with Biwako obasan and Hiruzen jiji.
We got ourselves three gifts each..a fuinjutsu set( Brush and Paper ) from obasan, Kunai and shuriken from jiji ; and a tanto from anonymous probably Kakashi.
Naruto got an orange shirt that i refused to buy him during shopping probably from obasan, a mask that he wanted to buy during the festival but the seller refused to sold it, probably from jiji. And shuriken and kunai from anonymous.
My gift was a promise to get him a bowl of Ichiraku's ramen each month from my allowance. Needless to say he was on cloud nine.
We have started practicing with them and i have became familiar with the tanto but couldn't totally grasp it. Its like something is missing and probably a teacher could help me but the problem is how can i get a teacher who will agree to teach me, one of the demon containers.
I was reaching for the door when Naruto suddenly Opened it.
"Big bro! Where were you?"...asked Naruto.
"Huh?" i said to him with a questioning look.
"Hehe...i want you to meet somebody."....replied Naruto.
"Who?"....i asked him
"Hey! Old man Gennou ! Come here!"....said Naruto.
"Hello! Are you his brother?".....asked the old man.
"Yes! Who are you? I don't think i know you?"...i inquired.
"Ah! Yes i didn't introduced myself! Did i?"....exclaimed the old man and introduced himself, "My name Gennou and i am a travelling merchant."
"Ok!..... Naruto! How do you know him?"...i questioned him and then inquired the old man, "And why are you here?"
I know its rude but i already know who he is. I have recognised him, he is the trap master from the destroyed Dragonfly village who planted those paper bombs all around leaf village as his mission twenty years ago and probably came here to investigate who found them.
Worst case scenario: He found out it's me and came here to harm me but i don't sense any ill intentions except regret, from him but there's nothing wrong being a little cautious and wary. Is there?
Suddenly, he answered, "We know each other because your little brother helped me find out my son's only photo. It is very precious to me.
For the past two weeks we have continuously met each other at Ichiraku's ramen and i have found out he is a very good boy( just how my son used to be? was left unsaid)."
"Ok! So?.....And you still didn't told me why you are here, Gennou san?".....i asked.
"Brother! He said he was a ninja from a long lost Dragonfly village and he will train us and he is super strong too!"...said Naruto.
"What! Naruto! What did i told you about secrecy?".....i scolded him. He looked down in depression but before i could say anything anymore to him old man Gennou interrupted me and said, "Oh! No! No! He didn't told me anything, i just find out on my own."
Then he looked at me and said, "And your have quite a collection too, books on genjutsu, fuinjutsu, kenjutsu, water ninjutsu, huh, i am very proficient at genjutsu and water manipulation, i can teach them to you along with many other tricks about fighting like a shinobi. I was an A-rank trap master back then in my village. Since i found out that you found my traps placed within this village, i am impressed to say the least...and i am offering both of you brothers a chance to learn from me, The Great trap master Gennou!"
The entire time during the conversation i sensed his chakra, there's no ill will behind it.
"You wanted to harm the Leaf Village, that's why you placed that trap and now you want to help me train, the person who ruined your trap! Why?"...i asked him confused and thought, "Shinobi are a bunch of weird people."
"I have my reasons."....he replied.
"Huh! ?"....i was confused.
"Tell me a reason why I shouldn't informed Hokage jiji about you"...i threatened him.
"Because then i will have no other choice but to tell your Hokage jiji, your little secret."....He replied smirking.
I frowned and thought, "This is weird...he clearly befriended my brother because he helped him and looked like his son that much i know from the anime then he suddenly shows interest in me and now he wants to help me became a Shinobi, the person who ruined his greatest trap work! hmmm.....but then there's no ill will coming from him.....just regret and sadness whenever he looks at my brother.....should i take his offer?...there is nothing to lose for me...but doing so i compromises village security. Then again in the anime shikamaru clearly explained that he had disabled the trap right from the beginning and he changed after meeting Naruto.....what to do?Should i take it or not?".
l was in the middle of thinking when Gennou interrupted me again and said, "I have no alternative motive behind the offer Haruto, i just want to pass on my legacy. I don't have much time to live.".....said Gennou.
"That i know probably 10 years at most"...i thought in my mind.
"I will give you one week to decide and Naruto knows where to find me"....said Gennou as he left my house.
I sighed and closed the door.
"Big brother! I am sorry! I wasn't cautious.".....said a depressed looking Naruto.
"Its Ok! Naruto! Just be more careful in the future."...i replied to him. He was still depressed.
"Its really ok Naruto! How about we go outside and have some Ichiraku's ramen".....i said to cheer him up.
And the effect was instantaneous he cheered up.
So, we visited Ichiraku's ramen later.
TWO DAYS LATER...
I have decided to take on his offer. So, Next morning we visited him and informed him of our decision.
He then inquired us about everything we know, has practiced, was interested in, etc.
We told him of everything we know about our strengths, weaknesses, etc. After sometime, he created and hand us over a Training schedule and Training regime based on the info we gave him on our abilities for the next six months because it is the duration of time his travelling merchant card had allowed him within the leaf.
So for the next six months we refined and acquired many skills under his tutelage.
We improved a lot in our techniques, especially shurikenjutsu and genjutsu departments.
He taught us a lot of things about trap making, helped us understand the theories better behind our ninjutsu so we can use them flawlessly.
He also taught us his village's signature Taijutsu style the Dragon fist of the Dragonfly village which is nowadays an extinct art. He even made us study about the mentality of a shinobi in different case scenarios, how they reacts , how they thinks, what they think, etc.
He was suprised to find out about the secret of using shadow clones in training and astonished at the amount of shadow clones Naruto can produce which is hundred and mine's which is sixty only, at such a young age.
He then did some major changes in our training schedule and regime.
He mainly made us use those clones in theory department so using them he made us learned and memorize about the terrain, general jutsus, shinobi mentality, etc of different villages and countries so that we can use them to our advantage in trap making to defeat them.
He was amazed when i showed him my body fission technique so he instructed my first half in Dragon fist and my other half in genjutsu, leaving my shadow clones to trap making and chakra change in nature excercises.
l dropped kenjutsu and shape manipulation during this time period since he doesn't have that much knowledge about them and completely focused on mastering Dragon fist, trap making, Genjutsu and Chakra change in nature excercises for the water style.
Naruto focused most of his time in mastering Dragon fist style, genjutsu detection and dispelling and trap making. His most difficult subject was always the theoretical knowledge that Gennou sensei taught us about the different hidden villages and countries so he invested more time in understanding them. Afterall he was stubborn to the core and had a never give up attitude.
I don't have such problems maybe due to the eidetic memory i got after my reincarnation for which i am thankful.
3 YEARS AND 7 MONTHS OLD
I have completed the Genjutsus training under him and now i can say that I am almost a competent genjutsu user since i can easily detect them and dispel them,even B-ranked ones.
I have also completed the chakra change in nature for water release and well on my way to master the water style: Dustless bewildering cover jutsu (( Its a B-ranked water style jutsu that completely makes one dissapear leaving nor form neither traceable chakra behind, ordinary form of detection doesn't works)).
It will probably take me another month to master it, so my next month's schedule is decided.
My Dragon fist isn't that refind but its passable.
My trap making skills are average at best but its fine.
Naruto too improved a lot, he became a lot better at Dragon fist and trap making than even me.
He can nowadays easily detect C-ranked genjutsu and break them with little to no difficulty .
His chakra control, Sensory perception and its range and other ninjutsu skills have bolstered under gennou sensei's guidance.
Now, here we are defending ourselves against him as a final test. Needless to say we didn't lasted that much since we can't use shadow clones and only allowed to use trap making and Dragon fist.
"Good work boys! I am impressed! You lasted longer than before"...said Gennou sensei.
"Ok! My time with you is coming to an end. I will leave Hidden Leaf the day after Tomorrow and i will be very busy with the paperwork...This is our final day together....i am proud of you guys! you have come beyond my expectations, my little shinobis"..... said Gennou sensei and added upon seeing our sad faces, "Don't worry guys! i will return in another four or five years...so make sure you continue to hone your skills. I am proud of you brothers!".....announced sensei.
"Thank You! Sensei! We were honoured to become your disciples. We learned so much from you and you were an awesome sensei!"...we replied.
He nodded with satisfaction.
"But sensei ! You promised me that you will help me find a summoning contract, what about that?".....i inquired and then made a sad face and said, "i guess that will be a thing for another time."
After saying that i started sulking....why you ask. Because i knew that he possesses a bird summoning contract from the anime and i am trying to emotionally blackmail him so that he will let us sign his summoning contract since he has became quite attached to us, especially Naruto. So i am sure that he will let us sign the contract.(hehe....i am an opportunist and a little evil).
"Yes! Yes! I will help you! Haruto."..... said Gennou sensei.
Then he performed the summoning jutsu and summoned a bird with the contract.
I showed surprise on my face and he laughed in response and said, "I never told you Haruto but summoning contracts aren't easy to get they are rare but luckily i possessed one. You both can sign it. Its a Giant eagle summoning contract. Always remember they are your partner not slaves to your will, treat them with respect."
(Ya! Giant eagle! after watching Naruto episode 199 and doing research i find that the giant bird is a Giant eagle, so ya Giant eagle contract. It is in the Narutopedia).
So he instructed us and we did as told and we became summoner of Giant eagle. He, then showed us the signs for summoning jutsus and ordered us to try the jutsu, to my surprise we both managed to summon two giant birds named O-Toko and O-Hoko. We introduced each other and became acquainted after some ceremony.
Later that evening we visited Ichiraku's ramen and celebrated for our successful training along with Gennou sensei.
Two days later, we bid our farewell with sensei, with a promise that he will come again sometime later.
I haven't told anybody yet but i have manifested the ability to sense other Uzumaki throughout the continent and surprisingly enough there are 57 of them alive taking in account all the uzumakis even my brother Naruto, me and Tsunade. So after removing Tsunade, me and my brother from the bunch, there are still 54 Uzumakis alive that are out of my reach and now i have to collect them to reform the Uzumaki clan here in Konoha.
Out of these 54, i can't find the exact location of 2, one of which must be Nagato but who is the other one....i wonder about that.
Nevermind i have other priorities right now, i have to get ready for kumo delegation that is scheduled to come to Konoha in three months' time.
So it is time for me to put my next plan into action.
