"Figures," Greeves said. "They don't know exactly who they're fighting for or with yet. Feels like there's two factions here. Those Blackthorn men keep coming to my door, asking for favours, as if we're allies, even though their Lord is at odds with our King. Funny how it goes, isn't it?"
"They rely on you now, Boss. 'Cos you've been rebuilding the city with them," Judas said. "You've got your hand in everything that's Ernest. Merchant Guild is all cleared out and in hiding. There's only really you to sort things out."
"I know that well and good, and I tell you, ten years… No, even bloody a year ago, this would be the opportunity that I wanted. I could make something here. Have my weight felt for years to come. Now that I've got it, though, I tell you that you can bloody take the thing back," Greeves said. "It's not worth all its trouble."
Judas smiled. "Besides, there's more important things."
