Lady Miya's Pov
It's been a week since the banquet and I've been doing nothing since then, because the emperor ask me to have a week rest all of sudden. He sent a decree early in the morning the day after the banquet, knowing too well that I won't just accept it if he just said it to me he use another means to make sure I'll follow.
Since it his his first time giving me such a decree I have to obey it no matter how hard it is. He even stop me from getting reports from Tigreal just for him to make sure I will take the rest that he ask for.
Even Hilda seems to have receive an order to keep me from doing anything but who they think I am. As stubborn as I am wen it comes to my duty as a soldier , I can still think of a way for me to at least secretly train at night when I'm left alone in my room. I know for sure the emperor knows about it.
Finally, today te decree has been done. As I walk towards the training grounds for the archery with Hilda beside me whose now talking none stop about how a week passed so fast.
" Why did the emperor only gave you a week rest' haaaaaah" she's been sighing none stop along with this lines.
" You've been working hard for a long time he should at least give you a month to do so" she added. Before she can continue her nonsense I have to stop her now..
" You already know why he only gave a week time for me to rest Hilda" I said while smirking.
" I do hope not my Lady" she answered knowing the answer well." Why do you have to be stubborn my Lady? Only if the emperor knows what you've been doing secretly at night" she murmured the latter but I still can hear it.
I laughed at that. " Of course he knows about it" I giggled.
She gaspped " You ....what...." she dramatically act.
" You, yourself is becoming more and more interesting " I said which makes her smile brightly.
"Oh My! Thank you my Lady" she grinned.
Anyway, as we arrived at the training ground we found many soldiers watching something. Me and Hilda look at each other in confusion and curiosity of what is going on. We walk near them and Hilda get one of the soldiers attention. Since theirs quite a number of onlookers to whatever is happening right now we can't see what everyone is seeing or watching.
As the soldier turns his headband saw Hilda , who he recognized turns his head behind to see me.He saluted .
" My Lady wants to know what's is happening right now' Hilda said to him.
" I understand, it's the prince's my Lady, they decided to train archery today and Prince Valir and Prince Kaja started a bet together and get even his highness Alucard and Prince Roger to participate"
I nod in understanding. Before I can ask about the deal someone whose more curious that I am beat me to it. " What's the bet all about", Hilda said excitedly seeing that I'm about to ask something the soldier looks at me before answering her.
I smiled at him before saying ," I have the same question as her". I look at Hilda whose having bright red face in embarrassment.
"I'm sorry my Lady ,I've become to eager to know." , she said and her face becomes more colorful. I laughed at that.
" It's not a big deal for me , however, remember to hold your curiosity sometimes ", I said which she nodded furiously.
" Now, let's hear about it", I said letting the soldier speak again.
"Yes, My Lady the bet they started is to let one winner to be able to ask two things from those who will not win. They will have ten arrows each to use for the difficult level here in the training grounds. Because this is the first time all four of them agreed to a single bet ,everyone who heard about it wants to see the outcome, since we all know and heared about the princes unparalleled shooting ability.
Just a simple bet, what I don't understand though base on my observation of his highness Alucard and even Prince Rofger's, both of them don't usually do this kind of thing .
What do they want to ask the others if they win this bet. This question of mine can only be answered by them so I just keep it to myself.
" I understand, its good to watch them and since I also train archery , I would like to see it myself I might get something to improve my skill", after saying this the soldier make a move for us to be able to have a better view. Other soldiers who saw us make a way so soon we are standing in front of the crowd and I can see the four princes currently preparing their bows and arrows.
Prince Valir and Kaja are both talking loudly to each other since they are a bit far from each other.
" I finally have the chance to beat everyone " Prince Kaja laugh happily as he said this.
" Talking so soon Kaja', make sure to prepare yourself for my request after I win" Prince Valir answered.
The other princes don't speak and just do what they need to do.
Third Person's Pove
After the princes prepared the shooting is about to start. The other soldiers prepared the moving target that will be thrown.
Everyone's excited to see their marksmanship that includes Lady MIya.
" My Lady who do think will win?" Hilda suddenly ask.
" I've seen his highness Alucard's and Roger's ability and their excellent, however I haven't seen how the other princes shooting prowess so I can't say who will it be"
I said.
" But your also good my Lady maybe you can also challenge them sometimes" , Hilda said in anticipation.
" That, I would like to happen if given an opportunity, of course" the Lady answered with the same anticipation as she imagined how will it ends if she ever ask them.
Soon soldiers cheer covered the wide training ground that is the signal of the beginning of the said bet of the four princes.
