"Are you the being that summoned me?" A dragon, the size of a skyscraper and ten miles in length, formed from jagged volcanoes, ash, and molten lava, asked with a roar as it emerged from the crack in the sky.
With curiosity and suspicion within its gaze, as all it could see within the eyes of this world's inhabitants was fear, except for a kid, who just looked at it with impatience and annoyance.
"Yes, so could you now do your job and kill this nuisance for me?" Rin uttered calmly without breaking eye contact as he pointed at Isaac, who was profusely sweating as he slowly backed away from Rin with fear.
'Just what the fuck is wrong with this dude?!' Isaac screamed mentally as dread gripped his fragile heart.
"Tsk, for a brat, you sure have some nerve to be bossing me around," The dragon scoffed as it unleashed its domain, igniting the world on fire and causing everything within a 10-mile radius to turn into ash.
Along with an insufferable wave of heat, which began to spread throughout the planet without warning.
Swoosh. Snap.
However, before things could escalate, time suddenly paused momentarily as everything except the cage that contained Isaac and Rin entered a state of slow motion as time began to rewind like a video played backward, yet with a twist.
Considering, instead of a colossal dragon in the sky, an older gentleman forged from bronze with eyes that resembled smoldering flames, and wearing a beige suit. Stood between them with a cane in hand made from obsidian draconite.
"So would you mind repeating yourself?" The dragon asked with a commanding tone after displaying its power. "Oh, and you may refer to me as Ash, mortal."
"Sorry… but no, Mister. So could you grab your meal and go already?" Rin frowned as he was starting to get ticked off by Ash's attitude.
"Guffaw! If it were not for our contract, kid, binding me to ancient rules, I would have killed you already in the most gruesome way possible. But unfortunately, my time here is limited, so I will ignore that attitude of yours and depart with my loot," Ash laughed as he struck the ground with his cane, producing a dull sound that rang throughout the cage.
Followed by a low rumble as the ground fractured, leading to chains made of living fire bursting from the earth and lunging toward a terrified Issac.
Crack! Whoosh! Sizzle!
"SOMEONE PLEASE SAVE ME!!!" Isaac screamed as tears and mucus coated his face as he maneuvered around the cage in terror. Yet, no matter how fast he ran, he couldn't escape his fate.
Swoosh. Swoosh. Swoosh.
"Thanks, I guess," Rin muttered as Isaac was captured and tied up like a gift on Christmas, just as his multi-K produced a chime to inform him that it was lunch time.
"Sigh, kids these days truly have no manners," Ash muttered to himself as he examined Rin before suddenly getting serious, "Kid, I'd advise you to hurry up and ascend, for the World is swiftly approaching its end. So, it's only a matter of time before everything and everyone who once cherished dies, if you don't stop playing around and living life like you have unlimited time to fix your mess."
He said before taking off into the sky and disappearing into the void with a chained-up Isaac, just as the fractured sky began to close, and the muffled screams of our classmate, Isaac, rang throughout the area like a fire alarm.

Simultaneously, as that occurred, time also returned to normal, just without the presence of Isaac and Ash, even though the area where the dragon once stood had now turned into a puddle of lava.
Sizzle. Sizzle. Sizzle.
"Finally, it's over," Rin sighed with relief before his mind started to think about what the dragon had said before it left with Isaac.
'To be honest, he isn't wrong... but has it truly gotten that bad since I left? Sigh, I guess it's finally time to tackle that hurdle before I must depart for the training camp.'
"Tsk, no rest for the weary," Rin complained in frustration as this incident just added more to his already piling tasks to accomplish before his ascension to Multiverse Y.
However, that will have to wait until later, as the three judges and the announcer appeared before him, while the crowd just waited eagerly for the results of the fight.
"Rin Kurama Jasper! How dare you risk the lives of your classmates and the safety of everyone within this school by summoning such a catastrophe to our world! Do you have anything to say for yourself, young man!" Olivia shouted sternly as she glared at Rin with unmasked anger and helplessness at the situation, because although what Rin did wasn't against the rules, it still could have placed the lives of everyone within Forbidden Blood at risk.
However, in the end, with only one casualty, the school could not penalize him for his actions, despite the fact that things were supposed to be vastly different from what they are now.
'Just what did I see before the reselection took place? Is it possible that my sight is malfunctioning, or was I viewing a variation of a timeline parallel to ours?' She wondered since the scene she saw back in her office displayed dead bodies, destroyed buildings, and undying flames scattered through the area.
Yet, contrary to expectation, the only causality and damage the school suffered was the loss of Isaac and the liquifying of some material into lava.
"That's beside the point, President, as the most pressing matter should be finding Isaac Newton. So, where exactly is he, Rin Kurama?" Vice President Calvin asked with a sense of urgency in his voice.
"Not a clue in the world, sir," Rin whistled as he strolled away nonchalantly.
"... Rin, please don't make my job harder than it needs to be," The vice president pleaded with a tremble in his voice as he tried not to create a scene.
"But sir, I'm being honest, I don't know where Isaac currently is," Rin replied as he stopped and turned around to face the vice president.
"Sigh, I hoped it wouldn't come to this," The Vice President muttered before borrowing the microphone from the announcer and informing the audience about the results of the match.
"Due to some unforeseen events, while Rin is the winner, sadly, his results will be deemed null until further notice. Also, with this, the reselection is now officially over, and for those who didn't get to fight, sorry, but we will be using the list of students initially selected for the training camp. Nevertheless, you will still be rewarded for your participation and martial spirit."
Calvin said with a pause before continuing, "But with that, thank you everyone, for your support, and may you all have a wonderful evening!"
