Chapter 32 - I'll Be Good

I was guided through the maze of halls till we landed in front of a large set of double doors, with me was two guards, one buzz cut in a suit, the other was more tactical gear, clean shaven, military looking guy. He has a more weapons strapped on him then the others do.

The suited one in front of me knocked on the large doors, "Enter." A call from the office.

I stiffened at the sound of his voice, everything that had happened, I don't want to go in there, but I don't really have a choice at this point. I need him to trust me, so he will take me out more and I get a chance to get the hell out of here.

I'll figure everything else out later I guess, or the cops will.

The guard opened the door and ushered me in, once I was past the threshold he shut the door behind me. Inside large office, on one side a huge oak brown desk, looked vintage and expensive for sure. He sat there with some large book in front of him, writing something down.

On the other side of the room a small sitting area with Victorian era looking couches in shades of dark brown, the cushions look like they are made of leather a small coffee table in front to match. The walls were lined with bookshelves filled with some random decorations and books. None of them seem to be in English though, I walk the wall slowly looking at them to see if there were any I could read.

Tora still hadn't looked from his book, I eventually found myself almost next to him as the bookshelf came to an end. I looked over his shoulder at the book, inside a language I couldn't read and a ton of figures that didn't seem to make sense to me.

He put down his pen and spun in his chair to look at me, "You trashed your room?" He questioned

"I was looking for something." I replied eyes still on the book.

He glanced over to it then back to me, "Can you read it?"

"No, what language is it?" Figured he wouldn't tell me what it said if I asked.

"Mandarin." He said leaning back in his chair, his head resting on the support, his dark black hair was down, framing his face. He was wearing a white button down, top few undone, his sleeves rolled up. Blue dress pants.

He shut the book and interlaced his fingers over his stomach staring at me.

" Do you want to be a good girl, earn more rewards and be treated well here. Or do you want to be stripped of that tattoo on your leg and sold off to become some drug addicted sex slave."

I felt a shiver through my whole body, I don't want either. But in the end this is my reality now, I had come to realize that over the last few days. Best I do what I can to survive and wait for my chance to get the hell out of here.

I felt tears welling up in my eyes, but he had seen me cry enough, I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of seeing it more. "The first one." I mumbled under my breathe, keeping my head down.

"Can't hear you" He responded in a sarcastic tone.

I bit down on my lower lip, clenched my fists behind my back so tight I thought my nails would draw blood. " The first one." I repeated at a louder tone.

"Say the words my dear, it's the only way I'll understand." He pushed again in that irritating voice.

I took a deep breathe, "I'll be a good girl" I said, inside myself I felt something shatter yet my heart raced.

"Good, now prove it."

I looked up to see his legs spread wide, I knew what this meant. Despite how much I wanted to forget everything I was told I remembered this much.
