"Amazing view, isn't it?" said a bald man appearing beside me. "Yes," I replied, without looking away at the sun that had just come out.
I am on the top of the statue, the tallest point in the village. From it, I could see the far and wide.
I have been seeing it nearly every day for the past twenty days but didn't feel bored even for a moment. The view is too amazing.
"I still remember like it was yesterday when Prime Hamil started working on the statue,"
"That man took his time. It took over a decade, but when he finished, it had blown everyone away," he said with his eyes turning blurry for a moment.
"That was millennia ago, right?" I asked. "Nine hundred and twenty-seven years," he replied.
"He made a masterpiece; I would have loved to meet the man," I said to that; the bald man smiled and shook his head. "For all his talent, the man wasn't nice," he replied.
"Still, he was brave," he added a moment later. To that, I couldn't help but nod.
