Seeker awoke to silence.
He lay still, his battered body sinking into the cold metal floor. The wound across his torso still burned, and his limbs trembled as his internal systems struggled to regenerate what little energy remained. His Golden Arm had not returned. His exoskeleton remained broken, cracked open like the shell of a dead insect.
There were no guards. No sentries stood by. Just a wide expanse of emptiness.
The chamber he was in stretched far into the horizon. Its ceilings towered high, adorned with complex circuit-woven arches and flowing streams of translucent code that rippled like digital rivers. Despite the smooth black walls, the air was breathable, though charged with static, like a storm had passed and left electricity lingering.
Seeker raised his head and squinted.
"This room… It's too big... Far too big for an orb that size. I see. A technology to shrink and compress."
