Dinner time is the liveliest time at the Zhuang Family household.
The whole family gathered together, and Zhuang Zhiyuan announced with excitement at the dinner table, "It's settled on my end. I'm getting a housing allocation this time for sure."
Feeling overjoyed, he continued, "I thought I'd have to wait a long time, but I didn't expect it to move so quickly. Our unit colleagues speculate that it likely started internally long ago, and by the time it reached us, the decision was already made."
Zhao Guihua smiled, "That's great news. Once you get the new place, our living space will be more spacious."
"Exactly," Zhuang Zhiyuan said with some pride. "I was really lucky this time. You don't know, there are plenty in our unit who haven't gotten housing. There are older colleagues ahead of me in the queue, and new colleagues with connections behind me. I was worried I wouldn't make the cut, but luckily, my turn came up."
