Zhuang Zhixi led Bai Fendou to stake out near the small inn, and soon enough, they saw the woman who had previously been seen arguing with Fan Jianguo. She was not alone; she was with Fan Jianguo. The two seemed much more at ease, unlike their earlier argument.
"It really is Fan Jianguo," Bai Fendou muttered under his breath.
Zhuang Zhixi was slightly surprised; he had assumed Fan Jianguo had already left.
"I wonder if he's managed to smooth things over. That's not good," he said.
"Should we go expose them…"

Bai Fendou pursed his lips, spat, and cursed, "This unlucky bastard."
Zhuang Zhixi watched the two leave together, their actions intimate. His eyes twinkled as he thought, "It's fine. I have a great idea."
