The enormous snake hurried to pull his pained tail away, yet Oli jumped with the tail to maintain his grip. All so he could keep pumping death essence directly into the serpent's stony scales.
Even when slammed against the cavern wall, Oli never wavered. Earth essence shielded his back while every bit of focus was on flooding the serpent's massive body with more and more death essence.
Nothing could stop the torrent of internal agony crawling up the serpent's spine. As the beast felt the true surge of death essence swell inside its body, the giant snake spasmed against the wall.

Telepathic cries rang through Oli's head as tantrum hisses endlessly echoed.
