Davis spat out blood, feeling the spear pierce through his body. Blood seeped out from his lips, dripping down as he looked up with a wry smile. His hand finally moved as he grasped the spear's shaft and opened his mouth.
"You know- the frightening thing about mastering Blood Laws to a higher level is being able to manipulate blood and move organs to avoid fatal injuries. But did you know that one could even move the position of their dantian?"
"Hmm?" The Twelve-Winged Seraphim's expression churned.
He abruptly found himself in a vast space encompassed by black-white skies. The aura here was faint and desolate as his power, but it brimmed with much more tenacity.
"It seems like I can't avoid a battle of Wills with you."
The Twelve-Winged Seraphim rolled the spear twice through his palm, his motion lazy yet precise as he pointed at Davis. However, his shoulders dropped, and his spear came down.
