Fiona was struck with a steamy dream she has been having for ages about Jalen. She was starved of the opportunity of freedom unlike other kids but she eventually got one when she gained an admission into the university of art which was deliberately arranged by her father where she met Paris and Jude. She discovered that her father’s best friend, Jalen, is a professor at the school; she thought faith was on her side. Paris took Fiona and Jude to a mask party one night. Fiona, not used to drinking, got drunk. Jude tries to make advances to her but she refused. She ran into a private area of the club, where Jalen happened to be. Eventually, a steamy encounter happens between them until it becomes an obsession. secret meetings start, in his office, empty classrooms, uncontrollable passion. Jude notices the tension and gets jealous, he confronts Fiona and threatens to expose her if she doesn’t stop. Fiona was very scared of what happened and confided in Paris with all her secret and what Jude told her but Paris promised to protect her and caution Jude. Marian on the other hand, also started growing suspicious of Jalen’s behavior and decided to start investigating his movements. Scared of what Marian might do to Fiona, Jalen suggested that they stop frolicking for a while but it affected Fiona’s grades. Marian eventually discovers the affair. She invited Fiona’s parents to a formal dinner. Turns out Jude had already sent proof of her and Jalen’s affair to Marian out of jealousy. Marian reveals the truth in front of Fiona’s father, Jalen, and everyone. Fiona’s father felt betrayed, breaking ties with Jalen, he promised to ruin his career. He decides to do as Marian commands, Jude tries to care for Fiona, pretending to love her but she finally sees his true manipulative side. Fiona chose Jalen, even when it means losing her family’s support. Jalen stood against Marian for the first time, filing for divorce. But Marian isn’t done with him. She leaks the affair to the university board and the public, causing Fiona to be devastated and lose her studentship and Jalen losing his career. But Fiona refused to give up, she discovered that Marian had been stealing from the school for a while, she tried to get some evidence and report her causing her to be arrested and also lose her job. In respect to getting Jalen’s job back, she went public and confessed her feelings to Jalen. Fiona went back home to her parents to express herself and how she feels about Jalen, her parents allowed her to be with him with a strict condition that Jalen has to do it the right way first. Jalen meets her outside the gate. For the first time, he doesn’t hide. He promised his best friend (Fiona’s father) to take care of her. The school board invited him and gave him his career back alongside Fiona’s studentship but on a strict condition that they don't talk to each other in school. Fiona forgave Paris and kept only her as her friend, leaving Jude alone completely.
