His death was easily one of the most idiotic ways to go—but that wasn't the end for him.
Knox found himself in a strange world, wandering for only twenty minutes. This was the Dream Realm, the world from which summons came.
He stopped near a tree, finding a simple sword lying beside it. Knox sat down, leaning his back against the trunk, the sword resting in his hands.
"What kind of place is this, anyway?" he sighed.
That was when a rift opened right in front of him, and before he could react, Knox was summoned.
