Blood+: A Requiem in Dust
The year is 2035.
Thirty years have passed since Saya Otonashi entered her deep slumber, watched over by her faithful Chevalier, Hagi. They were promised a quiet end to their war—a peaceful fade into history.
But monsters do not get to rest.
When Project Chimera, a technologically advanced paramilitary group hunting for the "Source," breaches the Miyagusuku tomb, the reunion between Queen and Chevalier is cut brutally short. Weakened by decades of starvation, Hagi makes the ultimate sacrifice to shield Saya from a Resonance Blade—a weapon designed to shatter the crystalline blood of their kind.
He does not die a warrior’s death. He shatters into silence, leaving Saya awake in a strange, neon-lit future, holding nothing but a trench coat and a pile of sapphire dust.
Now, the Queen has returned, but the hero is gone.
Refusing to let him go, Saya places Hagi’s remains inside his black cello case, carrying the weight of her loss on her back. Aided by Ren Miyagusuku—the grandson of the man who taught her to love—and Isolde, a disgraced sniper from a fallen era, Saya cuts a bloody path through a modernized world.
She is no longer fighting for duty. She is no longer fighting for the Red Shield.
