Rise of the World Tree

In Rise of the World Tree, Alex Thompson, an overworked office worker meets an untimely end only to awaken as a seedling treant in the magical world of Elyria. Bound to a mysterious system, Alex discovers his destiny which is to evolve into the World Tree , a cosmic entity, holding universes in its leaves and abyssal realms in its roots. Guided by the system , he gains EXP by nurturing plants and animals with small plants granting small exp and big and larger trees granting higher exp and nurturing animals granting larger exp than plants and trees, though the cost of mana rises with the number of plants and animals nurtured . With his starter skill granted by the system when he reincarnated, the Sap of Life gives him the ability to grant powers and speech to plants and animals alike to work as his subordinates . With this ability he uses to create a legion of monsters that will work for him. The first five animals he gives the Sap of Life, he makes them division leader who will lead other animals and do certain missions related to their divisions. The first five animals he awakens are Fang, a dire wolf who is the leader of the hunting division, Claw, a hawk which is the leader of the scouting division, Thorn , a bear responsible for the defense of the grove, leader of the defense division, Venom , a shadow panther which is the leader of the stealth ops and Surge , an eel for aquatic missions ,leader of the aquatic division. These allies, along with their awakened subordinates, hunt threats for exp . As Alex nurtures his grove, he faces the taint, a corrupting force led by the shadowy "high ones", ancient treants who betrayed the World Tree's path for power. With the aid of Liora, a redeemed elven leader from the Verdant Enclave, Alex battles tainted beasts, sigils, and cloaked agents, uncovering lore that tie to his destiny of cosmic balance. A certain elf's betrayal exposes the high one's greed but their true selves remained hidden still orchestrating from the shadows. Spanning epic battles, fragile alliances and ancient trials. Rise of the World Tree follows Alex's growth from a seedling treant to a cosmic guardian , confronting betrayal and the taint's insidious spread. With his grove's voice united and the Enclave's support, he inches toward his ultimate evolution where the fate of the universe hang in the balance.
