beast master: decay and decay
In a dangerous world where humanity lives behind giant walls to protect themselves from monsters coming from mysterious Rifts, people rely on brave Hunters to gather materials from the wild lands outside. Our main character, Sav, lives in City D and dreams of becoming a Hunter.
However, Sav has the Undead Affinity, which lets him control skeletons and zombies. Everyone thinks this power is weak because undead creatures are usually fragile and fall apart easily. People often make fun of him for it.
But Sav doesn't give up. He spends his time reading books about magic (called mana) and notices the symbols used look like something he vaguely remembers from a past life – something he calls "coding." He believes he can use these "coding" ideas to make his Undead summons stronger, even if they start small.
Putting his theory to the test, Sav finds tiny mouse bones and uses his unique "coding" method to summon a Skeleton Mouse. Even though it's incredibly small and weak, it follows his commands perfectly and doesn't crumble immediately.
Feeling hopeful, Sav takes his Skeleton Mouse to the Hunter Association. Despite being laughed at and questioned by others, the man at the desk agrees that Sav technically meets the requirement. Sav successfully registers as an E-Rank Hunter, the lowest possible rank. This small success marks the beginning of his journey to prove that his "weak" affinity can become strong.
