‘A world filled with aether, with deadly beasts lurking around.’
‘Waiting for a single mistake to feast on your flesh.’

‘In a world consumed by strife.’
‘Where the seven elements fight for supremacy.’
Crossed out.
It's closer, but still not the right start.
‘I'm a twenty-four year old office worker.’
‘Walked into the wrong alley.’
Crossed out.
Now, it's too far in the past.
And I'm not sure I should mention my first life.
Why does it have to be a memoir, it would be much easier to write an autobiography.
Oh, and by the way.
“Why didn't anyone ask my opinion about whether I wanted to write at all?”
Silence huh.
What else did I expect when I asked a question to an empty room.
I think I'm beginning to lose my mind.
The fact that I've lasted fourteen years is already an achievement.
Immediately comes to mind the first moment when I opened my eyes in this new world.
Die, to open my eyes and see magic happen.
How happy I was.
How foolish I was.
And what's the point of writing anything if it never sees the light.
I doubt that I'll ever see the sun again.
Although, judging by the creaking sound of the multi-ton steel door opening, I still could be wrong.

Perhaps I should just start by describing what happened.
