The Fate of Markus Valefar

Fate, a mysterious force that few are able to understand let alone comprehend. Fate can make the most righteous hero become the most diabolical villain, or make a villain become a hero unrivaled in might. Fate is the great balancing force that keeps reality from being destroyed and helps souls reincarnate into different worlds when they arrive in the void after death. Markus Valefar was a man who died while serving in a war against the minions of a diabolical force known as Gehenna, an ancient evil that tried to take over worlds to terra-form them into places of darkness and dread. Eveyone on the planet called Estara, where Markus lived and fought to protect, had their own skills that allowed them to fight back against the evil forces of Gehenna. Markus' skill was unknown to him as all that appeared on his status screen for his skill was question marks. Markus still became a great soldier even without using his unknown skill, and continued to fight the forces of Gehenna until he found out the true reason behind Gehenna's attacks. He was asked to report to the general's office. Little did Markus know, that this would be the final time anyone would see him again in Estara.
